Recently, I’ve been trying to go totally organic in regards to my lawn and garden; fertilizer, weed control and insect control. Not only am I concerned with my own family’s safety but also my neighbors and their pets. We have lots of people walking their dogs, doing their dog thing. I was at Home Depot looking through their Garden Center when I noticed this label on their plants. I’ve worked in several garden centers and have never seen this kind of tag. I went home and did some research. What are Neonicotinoids?  It is a new class of insecticides (used in the past 20 years) chemically related to nicotine.
