Lovely color and fragrance. Best of all, almost NO thorns! Great for an arbor you pass through as little chance of getting snagged.

I absolutely love this old-fashioned rose; wonderful fragrance, no thorns, I've never had a bug or disease problem; and it will even bloom in light shade. I grow it as a climber, covering a fence on the northeast side of the house. Has performed beautifully for at least ten years.

This is my third year for three Zephirine Drouhin climbers that I planted on the west side of our roofed, open patio. The three of them have filled in the west side of this patio beautifully and serve as a great patio sun block from the afternoon sun. They are in bloom right now and the sight is awesome. I had read where some complained about weak canes and spindly growth and I was worried after I planted them. No such experience here! We live in Zone five of the great lakes area in Ohio. I highly recommend this beautiful, nearly thornless, magnificent climber!

2nd year for this rose and no problems. Blooms off and on and am hoping it grows more in height. Took cold Missouri winter of 2010 very well.Blooms even in a light shade. I like it.
