Culture
Easily grown in slightly alkaline, medium moisture, well-drained soil in full sun. Avoid planting in areas with poor drainage where crowns will remain wet in winter. Needs good air circulation. Somewhat intolerant of summer heat and humidity.
Noteworthy Characteristics
Compact mounds of dense, blue-green, linear, grass-like foliage are covered with large, double, bright fuchsia-pink flowers on stems up to 18" from late spring well into summer. Some rebloom often occurs later in the summer or early fall, particularly if stems of spent flowers are promptly removed. Flowers are fragrant. New introduction by the University of Nebraska.
