STROLLEROBICS

Participant pushing stroller around Japanese Garden pathWorkout at the Garden with trained fitness instructors! Strollerobics (eight-week series) is a fun workout for all fitness levels. Participants push strollers along the Garden’s mostly flat paths, stopping to do cardio and toning exercises. Your children will enjoy the Garden’s sights and sounds, while you get a great workout!

LITTLE SPROUTS (ages 2–3)

Girl in bulb gardenLearn about plants and nature with your 2–3 year old during this seven-week series. Each session includes indoor, hands-on activities, songs, stories, snacks and a walk in the Garden.

GARDEN BUDS (ages 4–6)

Girl repotting plantDiscover the amazing world of plants with your preschooler in Garden Buds! Spring means new growth, flowers, rain, and wonderful smells in the Garden. Use your senses to find the signs of spring and take home a sweet-smelling plant of your own.

Class Schedule:
Garden Buds is offered every other week on Thursday mornings during March, April, May, September, October, and November

Multi-class benefit: If you book three or more programs, your child will receive a free t-shirt and journal.

PITZMAN SUMMER SATURDAYS (ages 4–6)

Children celebrate with flagsEnjoy the wonders of nature with your favorite 4–6 year old this summer. Child-centered, hands-on classes include time outdoors, classroom discussion, a craft project and a snack. Class topics include gnome home and fairy gardens, maps and mazes, Jack’s magic beans and more!

Class Schedule:

Scholarships Available

The Missouri Botanical Garden’s Education Department offers need-based scholarships so that every student has the opportunity to experience, explore, discover and learn at the Garden, the Shaw Nature Reserve and the Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House. Both schools/organizations and individual students may apply.
