Canopy Climb for Girl Scouts
Girl ascends into the treesCanopy Climbs give you an unforgettable birds-eye view of the world, while you are immersed in the canopy of majestic trees. Our expert instructors will introduce you to the extraordinary, diverse world of trees, while teaching you the basics of tree climbing mechanics, including climbing techniques, balance and safety. Climbers will have the opportunity to ascend and descend multiple times, exploring different parts of the tree's structure, limbs and canopy. The following Canopy Climb sessions are designed to help some Scout groups complete tree-related awards and have a one-of-a-kind nature experience!
  • For Scouts ages 8 and up
  • Open Climbs are open to all age-appropriate Scout levels (this program is not sanctioned by the Boy Scouts of America)
  • Registration closes at noon the Friday prior to the Saturday or Sunday session
  • Pre-registration only, walk-ups will not be accepted
  • Scout chaperones and age-appropriate siblings may also register to climb
  • Member price applies to members of registering household only
