Online Registration for Scout Programs

Scout groups must complete this Online Registration form for Girl Scout Programs and Cub Scout Programs at the Garden and the Shaw Nature Reserve, (Scout programs at the Butterfly House must be scheduled by phone at (636) 530-0076 x 13.)

Register for Scout Overnights and Canopy Climb for Scouts via the instructions given on those pages.

Registration for fall/winter programs begins Aug. 1. Registration for 2014 spring/ summer programs begins Oct. 15.










Required Chaperone Ratios

Grades PK-3: 1 adult per 5 students
Grades 4 and up: 1 adult per 8 students
Children’s Garden: 1 adult per 5 students

 



Scout Programs

  • Maximum 20 students; minimum 6 students
  • 4 weeks advance notice
* Select your preferred time. Classes are 2 hours in length (unless otherwise noted) and meet at 4:30 p.m. during the week, 10 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. on Saturdays, and 1:30 p.m. on early release dates.

Children’s Garden Visit

Check the box below for a Children’s Garden visit (the Children’s Garden is open April–October). All scout groups must pre-register their Children’s Garden visit to receive special admission rate of $3 per child for children ages 3 to 12 years. Scout groups are required to have 1 adult chaperone per 5 scouts.

Scholarships Available

The Missouri Botanical Garden’s Education Department offers need-based scholarships so that every student has the opportunity to experience, explore, discover and learn at the Garden, the Shaw Nature Reserve and the Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House. Both schools/organizations and individual students may apply.
