Peru Ethnobotany

We have been conducting research in Peru for over a decade, combining archaeology, chemistry, anthropology, ethnobotany and botany to gain a thorough understanding of the "Central Health Axis" - the exceptionally rich heritage of plant use in northern Peru. Biologically, the border region of Ecuador and Peru is one of the Earth's most biologically diverse areas, and thus a "hotspot of biodiversity" par excellence.
