Our Common Vision: A Biodiverse City

To form a regional community alliance that joins efforts and shares knowledge about biodiversity and ecosystem services in order to preserve and enrich life. 

A thriving, healthy, vibrant St. Louis community that understands and values biodiversity and serves as a regional urban model.
 
Our Collaborative Efforts

Strategic planning, development and leadership: Defining measures of success, setting shared and achievable goals.

Public awareness, engagement and education:
Communication, ecological literacy, online community, outreach education.

Research and data gathering:
Natural resources inventory, documenting what we know, prioritizing what we want to know, developing and contributing to a multi-disciplinary research agenda. 

Economic and policy incentives/opportunities:
Working with the business community and local/regional governments to identify opportunities to incentivize and spur urban biodiversity throughout our region.

Action projects:
Ecological restoration and built environment/infrastructure projects.
