Guest speaker Rich Anders began in the beverage industry in the beer department of a retail store 31 years ago. In 1988, he started selling fine wines for a wholesale distributor. He transitioned to the supplier side in 1995 representing several wineries over the next few years. In 2004, he started working for a multi-national spirits company. By 2012, Rich started to create a distillery in Colorado and is currently Co-Owner of Black Forest Distilling Company. The goal was to take his insights from wine production and knowledge from his corporate spirits career, and incorporate them into his own spirits production. He also brokers products for A. Hardy Imports and other companies that utilize his industry knowledge and experience to help sell their spirits.
