Non-school Groups at Dana Brown Overnight Center

The Center is designed to accommodate a wide variety of groups. When school groups are not using the site, this is an ideal setting for scout groups, retreats, workshops, professional development or corporate meetings.

Facility capacity is 100 for daytime events and 60 for overnights.

 

Rental Facilities & Fees

Group standing outside the DBOCLodging:
Weekday Rates (Monday through Thursday)
$500 per lodge for the first night
$250 per lodge for subsequent nights
Each lodge holds 13–19 people

Weekend Rates (Friday through Sunday)
$600 per lodge for the first night
$300 per lodge for the second night
Each lodge holds 13–19 people

Building fees with overnight stay:
Assembly Building: $200 per day
Adlyne Freund Center: $200 per day

Building fees without overnight stay:
Assembly Building: $700 per day
Adlyne Freund Center: $600 per day

To secure a reservation, a $150 booking fee is required five business days after making your reservation. The tentative hold on your reservation will be released if the booking fee is not received. This booking fee is non-refundable, but will be applied to your final payment.

A security deposit is required for use of the site.

Cancellations:
A full refund will be issued minus the booking fee if a reservation is cancelled at least 60 days in advance; 30 days notice results in a refund of 50 percent minus the booking fee. A refund will not be issued for less than 30 days notice. If the Shaw Nature Reserve must cancel a reservation, a full refund will be issued.
