The large flowers can range in color from orange to yellow and are held above clumps of pubescent foliage. Mature plants can reach up to 3' tall with an equal spread. This hybrid is said to be sterile.

SUMMERINA SUNCHASER is an upright, bushy selection of echibeckia that features a uniform display of large, 6-8" wide blooms with bright orange-yellow ray petals surrounding a dark brown central cone. Mature plants will reach up to 2' tall with a 1.5' spread. The long flowering period lasts from summer into fall. The blooms are attractive to butterflies and other insect pollinators and make excellent cut flowers.
