Family Programs

Calling all nature-loving families—come grow with us! Enjoy happy, healthy family time in the great outdoors.

Life doesn’t have to be rushed. It doesn’t have to be jam-packed with work, school, activities, lessons, events and meetings. It really doesn’t. We invite all families to take a big, deep breath this year, preferably amid the wonders of nature.

Budding Artist: Join us each season as we make a nature journal, explore the Garden and pot up a plant to take home. Budding Artist programs occur once each season on Sunday afternoons.

Budding Scientist: Join us each season to explore and observe in the Garden as we help scientists gain knowledge about local plants and animals. Citizen Science programs such as Celebrate Urban Birds, Fall into Phenology and Project BudBurst are introduced. Budding Scientist programs occur throughout the year during school breaks.
