Girl Scout Bridging Ceremonies at Shaw Nature Reserve
Bridge over Brush CreekCelebrate your troop’s accomplishments and hold your Scout bridging ceremony one of the area’s most beautiful locations! This one-of-a-kind experience can be added onto your group program ($75–100) during online registration*. Simply click on the option at the top of the registration page to add this experience.

Cost: An additional $35 gives you:
  • a beautiful setting for your ceremony at Shaw Nature Reserve. The Scout Instructor will contact you to work out the details of when your ceremony will take place during your 1.5–2 hour program, after your registration has been completed.
  • thirty minutes at the end of your program to celebrate in the Carriage House or at the Trail House pavilion at the reserve (the location depends on the program you choose). You may bring a cake or cupcakes and child-friendly beverages (juice boxes or water). Make sure to remember your serving utensils, dishes, plates, cups and table coverings.
  • a variety of hot teas provided by the Scout Instructor at the end of the program, to enjoy with your cake or cupcakes.

* At this time we are only able to accommodate bridging ceremonies that occur during regularly scheduled Scout group programs. We can only accommodate 10 chaperones per group, and chaperones must participate in the entire program as the ceremony is incorporated into the program.
