Children's Garden Reopening 2014

Spin our special wheel as you enter the Children’s Garden for a chance to win fun prizes. Help the garden grow its spring bedding plants by participating in a Daffodil Dig. Plant bulbs in our Nature Explore classroom and take one home for your yard. When your bulb blooms, you’ll know it’s time to come back to visit the Children’s Garden. Dig nature? So do we! Create with clay and other natural materials to discover the patterns, shapes and details in your favorite leaf, flower, seed or rock. Make a nature-inspired pendant to wear or hang to in a window or on your holiday tree. Make a unique photo frame from natural and recycled materials to display for favorite photo of your adventures in the Children’s Garden. Learn more about Missouri spiders and their webs and make your own from crayons and watercolors. Explore nature in the Children’s Garden while making your very own nature journal. Use your keen observation skills to draw, write about, and track what you see throughout the season.
