Children’s Garden Celebrates End of Season with Fun for Families November 2-3

Say hello to fall as the Missouri Botanical Garden marks the seasonal close of the Doris I. Schnuck Children’s Garden. Children can have one final Missouri adventure while enjoying the change of seasons on Saturday Nov. 2 and Sunday Nov. 3. Missouri Botanical Garden Announces Plans for Garden Glow 2013 Light Exhibit

The Missouri Botanical Garden is excited to announce its plans for “Garden Glow 2013,” the Garden’s first-ever winter light exhibit. Visitors will have the opportunity to stroll through the Garden at night surrounded by a spectacle of unique light installations. The exhibit will open Nov. 23, 2013 and run through Jan. 4, 2014.

Celebrate Summer at the Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House

From butterflies to bugs to picnics and fireflies, the Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House is serving up fun for families all summer long. Summer hours begin May 27 and run through September 2 with the Butterfly House open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with additional programming on several summer nights. Full story.

Celebrate Chinese Culture Days at the Garden May 18-19

Experience traditional Chinese art, music and cuisine during Chinese Culture Days at the Missouri Botanical Garden. Sponsorship support for Chinese Culture Days is provided by Novus International, Inc. The weekend of festivities kicks off on Saturday, May 18 at 11 a.m. with a grand parade and opening ceremony featuring a 70-foot dragon. The festival runs May 18-19 with activities from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days. Full story.

Children’s Garden Reopens for 2013 Season with Two Days of Family Fun

Join the Doris I. Schnuck Children’s Garden as we “spring” into another season of activities for the whole family. Explore the great outdoors and have a Missouri adventure as you experience all the Children’s Garden has to offer including a waterfall, steamboat, cave, rope bridges, tree house and more! March Morpho Mania Returns to the Butterfly House

Enjoy the beauty of a rainforest without ever leaving Missouri during the Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House’s annual March Morpho Mania event. Nearly 3,000 Blue Morpho butterflies will be in free-flight inside the 8,000-square-foot tropical conservatory for this annual event. March Morpho Mania offers visitors an opportunity to see the largest collection of Blue Morpho butterflies in the United States.
