Bryophyte Collection Database
This database contains information on the so far registered bryophyte specimens in the herbarium of the Swedish Museum of Natural History (S). Contains 42,000 records, or about 6% of S's bryophyte collection.

Bryophyte Flora of North America
The goal of BFNA project is to produce taxonomic treatments of the nearly 1900 species of North American bryophytes by 2006. An offshoot of the Flora of North America project. Many illustrations, keys, and treatments have already been added.

Electronic Atlas of the Plants of British Columbia
This is a searchable database of over 157,000 bryophytes housed at the University of Alberta (Edmonton) and University of British Columbia. Part of the Devonian Botanic Garden's Prairie and Northern Plant Diversity Centre.

New York Botanical Garden American Bryophyte Catalog
This project's goal is to electronically catalog bryophyte collections from New York Botanical Garden (NY), a total of 460,000 speciment records. Phase I (Canada, North America, and Greenland) is near completion and these records can now be searched. Includes "What is a bryophyte anyway?," with good definitions and photos.
