Tefy H. Andriamihajarivo is the site facilitator of Analavelona conservation site, one of the two conservation sites managed by the William L. Brown Center (WLBC) of the Missouri Botanical Garden in Madagascar. His DEA studied the ecology and natural regeneration of three endemic species. He has 17 years of experience working in Malagasy plants and inventory. He facilitates all conservation activities at Analavelona, a sacred forest. He works also on the forest's botany, while maintaining good relationships with the local community and the different local partners at the site. He is interested in taxonomy and the endemic plants of Madagascar. He has been working with the Analavelona community for almost 13 years, and thus has great knowledge and familiar to all aspects of culture and life of community around Analavelona.
