EarthWays is pleased to introduce our new Sustainability Education Manager, Kat Golden. Kat joined the EarthWays Center team in 2012, and has worked with many educators, students, and community partners as our Education and Volunteer Coordinator for the last four years. Students Conduct Waste Audits

Students got “hands on” experience doing waste audits at their schools this fall. Fourth, fifth and sixth graders collected school trash for a day and EarthWays staff helped them sort it into recycling, compost and landfill trash.
