Calling all volunteers! EarthWays Center is in need of Zero-Waste Ambassadors. If you’re looking for a way to make a difference, learn a bit more about our waste streams, or even simply enhance your enjoyment of Chinese Culture Days, Green Living Festival, Japanese Festival, or Best of Missouri Market, consider joining us for a training.

New Volunteer Opportunities:Green Living Class Assistants: Love our classes? We need assistants to monitor our spring and summer green education classes. Class assistants stay for the entire class and help presenters set-up their materials, greet and check-in registered participants, collect evaluation surveys and assist with clean up. Look for a new face at EarthWays: We recently welcomed Simon Warren as our new Education and Volunteer Coordinator. Simon brings great experience to our team: He helped to prepare the City of New Orleans’ greenhouse gas inventory and worked with biogas projects in Yunnan province in the People’s Republic of China; conducted research to identify risks to the use and supply of metals, and was an 8th grade science teacher and science content facilitator in Memphis, Tennessee.
