The Missouri Botanical Garden has embarked on a historic project—the new Jack C. Taylor Visitor Center, opening in 2022. Our new Gateway to the Garden will transform our visitors’ experience, sustain the Garden’s future, and contribute to a growing cultural renaissance in St. Louis. From the moment visitors pull into the parking lot, the Taylor Visitor Center will immerse them in our mission to connect people with plants. At the heart of this project is the ambitious landscape design plan, which will feature both native plants and rare specimens from around the globe and offer stunning new outdoor pathways and vistas.Members are invited to learn more about the landscape design plan at a virtual conversation with Andrew Wyatt, the Garden’s Senior Vice President of Horticulture and Living Collections, and Michael Vergason, Principal at Michael Vergason Landscape Architects, LTD. This free, members-only program will take place via Zoom. Registration is required, and a link will be sent one week prior to the event.
