Order your e-tickets in advance to ensure faster entry and guaranteed access, especially for busy morning or weekend visits.  St. Louis Resident Rate valid for all St. Louis City/County residents with proof of residence.

E-tickets

Can be purchased by phone at (314) 678-7442 (Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.). E-tickets are dated but not timed. E-tickets are available up to one week in advance for purchase. 

Limited walk-ups tickets are available and can be purchased at the ticket window; however, mornings and nice weather days frequently sell out in advance. All transactions must be credit/debit only.

Additional Garden Hours & Information

  • The Garden is closed December 25. 
  • Advance e-ticket purchase or reservations recommended. Walk-up tickets are available and can be acquired at the ticket counter on the day of your visit during operating hours. Cashless payments only. 
  • Early Morning Walking Hours and Zoo-Museum District (ZMD) Resident Free Hours. Must show proof of membership or St. Louis City and County residency. Wednesdays and Saturdays (walking hours from 7–9 a.m.) Free St. Louis City and County resident admission from 7 a.m.–noon. Includes Children's Garden on Saturdays only.  
  • ZMD free tickets are available onsite for walk-ups only and cannot be reserved online in advance.  ZMD resident free admission is subject to availability. Free and early morning hours do not apply on holiday or event weekends, including Labor Day weekend.

Garden Members

All members must enter their membership number to access reduced price tickets. Membership numbers are printed under the barcode on membership cards. The number of reduced-price tickets a member may order depends on the level of membership. Review membership levels

St. Louis City & County Resident Discount

In appreciation for their ongoing support of the Garden through the Metropolitan Zoological Park and Museum District, St. Louis City/County residents enjoy discounted general admission to the Garden daily and free Garden admission on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 7 a.m.–noon, with early walking hours from 7–9 a.m. (free admission is limited to available capacity and available for onsite walk-up entry only; not available for advance purchase). Free admission and early entry do not apply on festival and holiday weekends, including Labor Day Weekend. 

Inclement Weather Policy

Event tickets are nonrefundable and valid rain or shine. Individual activities may be cancelled due to inclement weather or ground saturation. As conditions are constantly in flux, we are unable to foresee cancellations or future changes to the event schedule.

During certain special events, weather information will be posted on our home page as well as our Twitter feed at www.twitter.com/mobotgarden. You may also visit the ticket counter for on-site updates throughout the day.
