Giving Tuesday: Hello, Nature!

For almost a century, Shaw Nature Reserve has invited visitors to immerse themselves in the wonders of Missouri’s natural landscapes. The Reserve team works tirelessly to conserve, preserve, and restore entire ecosystems—creating healthy, diverse habitats for Missouri plants, birds, insects, and other wildlife. We lead hundreds of classes, hikes, and tours to engage guests of all ages with the natural wonders in our backyard.

The Reserve has taken the Garden’s commitment to plant knowledge, education, and conservation to a whole new level. Many of the staff live on or near the property, constantly maintaining historic buildings and improving the visitor experience throughout the seasons. We maintain 14 miles of trails and dozens of resting spots through these prairies, wetlands, woodlands, and glades.

This Giving Tuesday, make nature a part of your holiday list with a special gift to Shaw Nature Reserve.
