Rest your feet, relax and enjoy the sights —experience the Missouri Botanical Garden on our tram! Rides provide an excellent opportunity to learn about our displays, buildings, and gardens to explore during your visit.

Schedule

Trams run continuously from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. with stops at the Jack C. Taylor Visitor Center, William T. Kemper Center for Home Gardening, Japanese Garden, and Tower Grove House. View Garden map for location information

Trams do not operate during severe weather and cannot be guaranteed on days preceding, during, and after special events. Operations are subject to cancellation without notice. 

Pricing

$5 for Adults and Children (age 3-12)

Free for Infants (age 2 and under) when seated on a lap

Free for Garden members at the Friends and Family level and above 

Tram passes are valid for the entire day of purchase, subject to available capacity.

Purchase tickets upon boarding. Cash not accepted; credit card transactions only.

Seats available on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Private Rides and Rentals

Accommodations

The Garden tram system can accommodate one visitor using a wheelchair or power chair at a time up to the loading ramp's 800-Lb limit. The tram cannot accommodate motorized scooters; visitors may opt to check motorized equipment at the Visitor Center before transferring to a complimentary wheelchair. 

In addition, individual motorized scooters are available to rent at the Visitor Center for a $30 fee.
