Pollinator Appreciation with the Butterfly House
Pollinator Plant Give Away: the first 150 families can pick up a pollinator-friendly plant to take home
Scavenger Hunt: explore the Festival and earn a special patch (while supplies last)
Boys with their solar carsSolar Oven S’mores: make a snack in our solar oven
Solar Cars: purchase a kit to build now or take home ($10 per kit or two for $15)
Solar Car Races: once you’ve built your solar car put it to the test on our solar car race track
World of Worms: discover the power of worms, draw your own worm cartoon, and get close with these wiggling decomposers!

Center for Home Gardening Sustainability Tour:
Tour lasts approximately 45 minutes; meet at upper level Visitor Desk.
Stroll with a Master Gardener to see the Center’s demonstration gardens, and sustainability components such as compost area, bee yard, solar panels, rain barrel, rain gardens, and native plant area.
