Chihuly in the Garden 2023 presents the work of world-renowned artist Dale Chihuly in a stunning exhibition uniting art and nature. Thousands of pieces of blown glass forms in 20 dramatic installations throughout the Garden’s grounds present these artworks on a grand scale. 

Daytime viewing of Chihuly in the Garden 2023 is included in Garden admission.

During Chihuly Nights, view Chihuly’s dramatically illuminated works of art with live music, cocktails, and pop-up offerings all summer long. Advance purchase recommended to guarantee admission; sellouts are expected.

Chihuly Nights are rain-or-shine events. In case of cancellation, simply present your tickets for entry on any other Chihuly Nights evening.

All sales are final; no refunds will be issued. Exchanging tickets for another evening is subject to a $10 exchange fee in all cases other than cancellation.

Hailed as one of the most important artists of the 21st century, Dale Chihuly has transformed glass into a multidimensional artform. 

An advocate for beauty and institutions, Chihuly began working with botanical gardens in 2001, bringing art lovers outside and inspiring garden lovers to see art in a new light. His renown has continued to grow nationally and globally, most recently as the subject of a Smithsonian Channel documentary.

In the film, renowned glassblower Dale Chihuly discusses his history and what excites him about the medium, with additional insights about his life and style from friends, students, and fellow artists.

Location & Parking

The Missouri Botanical Garden is easily accessible from the St. Louis metro area and conveniently located near Interstate 44.

 

Parking

There is no charge for parking at the Missouri Botanical Garden. In the event that the main parking lot is full, visitors should use the Garden's free overflow lots at the corner of Shaw Boulevard and South Vandeventer Avenue.

Complimentary shuttle service provided to and from overflow lots on all Chihuly Nights.

Please respect our neighbors and refrain from parking on residential streets or private lots. Vehicles parked on private lots are subject to towing at the vehicle owners' expense.
