Throughout the month of August, Aetna and the Missouri Botanical Garden are teaming up to promote Mindfulness at the Garden. 

Mindfulness is not a new concept. But what does being mindful really mean? It’s not just about meditating, relaxing, and burning incense. It’s about clearing out the clutter… the thoughts of the past or the future that continually race through your mind and interfere with you focusing on the now.

Mindfulness can be described in three simple words: present moment awareness.
