There is something new happening at the Kemper Center for Home Gardening. Beginning Wednesday, March 4th, there will be an arts & craft drop-in demonstration between 10 a.m. to noon. Just drop-in any time between these hours to see the artist in action in our center atrium. These will be offered every Wednesday to all visitors (FREE admission Wednesday) through December, 2015. Staff and volunteers will share their artistic talents, demonstrate their craft, answer questions and provide instructional handouts for visitors to try at home. There are a variety of projects ranging from sculptures, wall art, jewelry, wind chimes, and planters to mention a few. Keep a watchful eye on our website, mobot.org, for dates and monthly projects.
March Projects:
March 4 – Wire Fairy Sculpture
March 11 – Wire Jewelry
March 18 – Twig Wall Art
March 25 – Washer Jewelry
Drop-in and see the artist at work.
A good resource for gardening information is the Advice, Tips and Resources page found in Gardening Help. It has detailed information on a wide variety of plants for your garden.
