Native Location: Eastern and central United States
Description: Rudbeckia hirta is an adaptable prairie plant that can be found throughout Missouri, and it is perhaps the best known of all the prairie flowers. Black-eyed Susan is a tough plant that is easy to grow. The showy, yellow, petal-like ray flowers make it a popular garden plant for attracting butterflies.
