Warm Up the Classroom - Grow in Your Green Knowledge!

Want to do a sustainability related volunteer project in your own backyard?

Think about conducting an MSD storm drain marking campaign in your neighborhood. These campaigns help build awareness and provide a visible reminder of the consequences of improper waste disposal. This in turn educates the community of the importance of keeping our watershed healthy, connecting storm drains in our streets to the creeks, streams, and rivers that surround us. This is a great project for individuals, scouts, and community groups. We provide all the tools and equipment your group needs to help put knowledge into action. Opportunities to participate in the program begin in March 2022 while supplies last. Contact EarthWays Center at to get on the waitlist for storm drain marking projects today.
