Jepson eFlora

Linnaeus Link
It  is an international collaboration between libraries with significant holdings of Linnaean material. It is funded, maintained and co-ordinated by the Linnean Society of London.  Its main aim is to be a comprehensive, online Union Catalogue of Linnaean publications, facilitating research for scholars worldwide by enabling them to identify locations of titles with a single internet search.

Louisiana State University Herbarium
Founded in 1869, the Louisiana State University (LSU) Herbarium is the oldest collection of preserved plant specimens in the Gulf South and is the second largest collection of Louisiana plants. Originally composed entirely of specimens of vascular plants, it now also includes fine collections of lichens and fungi.

This is an excellent site from the U.S. Natural Resources Conservation Service (USDA). Information is current, very well-maintained and organized.

The Plant List
This is a working list of all known plant species. Version 1 aims to be comprehensive for species of Vascular plant (flowering plants, conifers, ferns and their allies) and of Bryophytes (mosses and liverworts).

The Plant Press
It is the quarterly newsletter from the Department of Botany and the U.S. National Herbarium. The purpose of The Plant Press is to provide information about the activities of the Department. Included are articles about staff research and travel, visitors, new publications, and plant conservation highlights. In-depth insight in the world of botany is provided in each issue by the Chair of Botany.

The South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI)
Custodian of the nine National Botanical Gardens in South Africa. Contains information on NBI's databases and libraries, South African botanical gardens, and research.

Southwest Environmental Information Network  (SEINet)

The Virtual Foliage Page
This collection of images is from the Department of Botany at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Includes five sets of digital images: General Botany, Plant Systematics Teaching Collection, Dendrology, Fungi, and Vegetation of Wisconsin. Thousands of great images.

The Virtual Herbarium of the New York Botanical Garden
This site allows you to search NY's entire specimen catalog of vascular and non-vascular plants and fungi. Few images.
