For families with children ages 5 and older. Join us for this short hike on the shortest day of the year! The sun will have set before the hike starts but the moonlight will allow us to enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of a winter evening at Shaw Nature Reserve. We will do activities as we hike to see how our senses compare to nocturnal animals, learn about the plants we hike past, and hear what's in the night sky with our volunteer expert. This hike will cover roughly 1.5-miles over uneven ground.
