Looking for the ultimate romantic location for your wedding proposal? The Missouri Botanical Garden is a beautiful place all year around but turns into a winter wonderland of magical lights during our annual Garden Glow.

We welcome proposals during Garden Glow. Purchase your Glow tickets online and propose at any location along the Garden Glow path. Some of our most popular proposal locations include:

Snow Globe 
Ready to pop the question? Step inside our giant inflatable snow globe for a picture-perfect proposal. 

Victorian District  
Illuminated by warm lights and the glow from flickering lanterns, the peaceful path through the Victorian District makes an intimate and romantic proposal location. 

Big Blue
Affectionally known as “Big Blue” by garden staff, this fully lit sweet gum tree is adorned with thousands of blue holiday lights.

We also offer a proposal package:

• Two VIP tickets
• Two vouchers for beverage, alcoholic or nonalcoholic, at any café location
• Private access to Piper Observatory, overlooking the spectacularly lit maze

Garden Glow is open evenings from November 13, 2022 through January 8, 2022. Please make your reservations at least two weeks in advance of your desired date. We are not able to accommodate walk-ins.

Inclement Weather Policy
Event tickets are nonrefundable and valid rain or shine. Garden Glow may be cancelled due to inclement weather. As conditions are constantly in flux, we are unable to foresee cancellations or future changes to the event schedule.

During Garden Glow, weather information will be posted on our home page as well as our Twitter feed at www.twitter.com/mobotgarden. You may also visit the ticket counter for on-site updates throughout the day.
