Entrance to the Green Living Festival is included with regular entry to the Saint Louis Art Museum where general admission is FREE.

The Saint Louis Art Museum’s Gold-LEED certified East Building celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. Learn more about the building’s green design features and the LEED checklist that generated the building’s Gold-LEED certification. Panorama restaurant, located in the East Building, recently received a 5-star certification rating from the Green Dining Alliance (GDA). Walk through the steps taken to achieve this certification process and learn more about the GDA’s mission.

Guided Walking Tours (sponsored by Spire)

Gain new perspectives on Andy Goldsworthy’s Stone Sea by walking through this large-scale outdoor sculpture during a 20-minute guided tour. This experience involves walking on uneven surfaces and is weather dependent. Tickets for this experience have been provided by Missouri Botanical Garden as part of the Green Living Festival pop-up event.
Meet at the Ask Me Docent Station in Sculpture Hall to be escorted down to the café/concourse to access the Stone Sea gallery. Eight-person max per tour.
Drop-in, first come, first served. No pre-registration requested.
2 p.m.   native plantsTour of Art Hill Gardens

Join Danielle as she discusses the flower beds on each side of the Apotheosis of Saint Louis statue at the top of Art Hill, and the plants curated in them.
Meet to the west of the Information Center in the Sculpture Hall. Look for the sign. Tour is approximately 45 minutes.

Engage with the Saint Louis Art Museum docents to learn more about Andy Goldsworthy’s commissioned work of art, Stone Sea. Goldsworthy drew inspiration from St. Louis geology and the city's underlying bedrock of limestone, formed in prehistoric times when the Midwest was covered by water. Using limestone from a local quarry, Goldsworthy constructed 25 unique arches employing ancient Roman dry-stone engineering.
