The Victorian era (1837–1901) was a time of extraordinary scientific exploration and discovery. Scientists such as Charles Darwin, Joseph Dalton Hooker, and Asa Gray captivated society with their discoveries. Nature became an obsession with Victorian society, and people looked for any way to bring a piece of nature into their homes.
This year’s Holiday Flower and Train Show explores this Victorian love of nature. We welcome you to explore the miniature villages, get lost in the ferns, and step back in time.
Please note: trains may experience periodic downtime in order to repower engines.
Included with daytime Garden admission and evening Garden Glow admission. The Garden closes is closed all day on December 25.
