Looking for a unique and exciting way to engage your scouts in the great outdoors? Join us for a Scout Overnight at Missouri Botanical Garden! Our overnight program offers an unforgettable experience filled with nature exploration, badge activities, and exclusive access to the Garden after dark.
What to Expect:
- Badge Program & Self-Guided Activities
Your scouts will participate in a full badge program, where they will work toward completing badge requirements. In addition to the structured program, they can engage in fun self-guided activities to enhance their learning and adventure.
- Exclusive Access to the Children’s Garden
Scouts will have the rare opportunity to explore the Children’s Garden, a hands-on interactive space where they can engage with nature through creative play and discovery. ***Children's Garden access available April–October and weather permitting***
- Night Hike
One of the highlights of the overnight experience is a guided Night Hike through the Garden. Scouts will discover the wonders of the Garden after dark and learn about nocturnal creatures and the environment in a whole new light!
- Camp-In at the Garden!
Scouts will camp indoors in the Brookings Exploration Center, providing a safe and comfortable environment for their overnight stay. Participants are encouraged to bring sleeping bags, air mattresses, and/or cots for their comfort.
- Evening Snack & Breakfast Provided
We’ll provide an evening snack to keep your scouts energized and a hearty breakfast to start the day after their overnight adventure.
Program Schedule:
- Arrival: 6 p.m.
- Departure: 8 a.m.
Pricing & Requirements:
- $50 per scout
- $25 per chaperone
- Minimum of 10 scouts required to book an overnight
- We require at least 1 chaperone per 5 scouts
