Scout Programs at Shaw Nature Reserve
In-person Programming

Bring your scouts out to Shaw Nature Reserve for a guided hiking adventure! These 2-hour programs will have your scouts exploring the natural world through the lens of a Naturalist. During these adventures scouts will: travel through and learn about the diverse ecosystems found throughout the Nature Reserve, explore and ID native plants and animals found here in Missouri, learn about our continued conservation efforts and learn tips and tricks on how to be good nature explorers (including making good observations, asking good questions and Leave No Trace principles). Scouts will also be provided trail guides with supplemental information (while supplies last).
