MISSOURI BOTANICAL GARDEN CELEBRATES TREE WEEK OCT. 29 – NOV. 4
Enjoy the Garden’s Fall Foliage in the Height of Autumn
WHAT: Tree Week
WHEN: October 29 to November 4
WHERE: Missouri Botanical Garden, 4344 Shaw Blvd., south St. Louis
COST: Garden Admission, $12 adults (ages 13 & over), Free children (ages 12 & under) and Garden members, $6 for St. Louis City/County residents ages 13-64, $4 for St. Louis City/County seniors. St. Louis City/County residents enjoy free Garden admission on Wednesday and Saturday mornings before noon.

(ST. LOUIS): The Missouri Botanical Garden is celebrating its colorful canopy at the peak of fall foliage season. Tree Week is a new campaign offering visitors the chance to learn more about the Garden’s impressive tree collection, and the staff who care for it, all while soaking in the bright red, yellow and orange hues overhead.
The Garden will offer daily guided, and self-guided, tours exploring the history and highlights of the tree collection. Children can learn about trees with special activities in the Brookings Exploration Center and Doris I. Schnuck Children’s Garden. All programming is included with Garden admission at no additional cost.
Programming for Tree Week also includes Tree Talk from 11 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, October 30 in the Shoenberg Theater. A panel of regional tree experts will answer visitor questions about tree care and maintenance, canopy management and tree identification. Seating is limited, click here to register.
With more than 5,000 trees representing more than 1,100 species, the Garden’s tree collection is one of the most diverse in the entire Midwest. That diversity is on full display during the fall, as different species reach peak color change at different times. The result is a cascade of color lasting several weeks and culminating with the spectacular Japanese maples concentrated along the lakeshore in the Japanese Garden.

The Missouri Botanical Garden is located at 4344 Shaw Blvd. in south St. Louis, accessible from Interstate 44 at the Vandeventer exit and from Interstate 64 at the Kingshighway North and South exit. Free parking is available on site and two blocks west at the corner of Shaw and Vandeventer.
