 Missouri Botanical Garden Announces Garden Party Lights

Event will run from July 5 to October 19

This summer, the Missouri Botanical Garden becomes your after-hours destination for food, drinks, lights, music, and dynamic multimedia at Garden Party Lights. The evening-only event will be open Thursday-Sunday from July 6 to Oct. 19.

Come out and experience nature, illuminated. Garden Party Lights will feature interactive lighting, projection mapping, and laser show installations that will entertain visitors of all ages.

Doors open at 6 p.m. nightly for food, drinks, and strolling. Take in the sights and sounds of the Garden in the evening. Admire St. Louis sunsets while you are surrounded by beautiful blooms.

At dark, the light show begins. Take a self-guided journey through over a mile of free-flowing paths Immerse yourself in electrifying multimedia created in collaboration with world-renowned projection and lighting experts AVI Systems and Theatrical Concepts Inc.

The popular Biergarten, located on Linnean Plaza, will offer snacks, drinks, games, and live music. Stop by for an after-work outing or bring your friends and family to party at the Garden. Thursday nights will feature weekly drink specials.

Sunday nights in July and August will be family nights, featuring $3 for tickets for children ages 3-12. Admission to the Doris I. Schnuck Children's Garden, which will be open until dark Sunday evenings in July and August, will be included.

Tickets are date specific. Purchasing tickets in advance of your visit is highly recommended as sell outs are expected throughout the summer. Tickets go on sale Tuesday, May 28 for Garden Members and on Monday, June 3 for the general public.

Garden Party Lights will be closed from Aug. 28 to Sept. 1 for Japanese Festival and Oct. 3-6 for Best of Missouri Market.
