The Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House has been recognized as one of the best butterfly gardens in the country, with community members voting the beloved St. Louis destination in the top five.
USA TODAY announced today that after four weeks of public voting, the Butterfly House has been voted #4 on their list of Best Butterfly Garden in the U.S.
“We are honored to be listed among so many other incredible organizations across the country,” said Jennifer Mullix, director of the Butterfly House. “Our talented staff and dedicated volunteers work hard to provide our tropical and native butterflies with beautiful, natural and healthy habitats, and it feels great to have those efforts recognized. We appreciate the continued support of our community and hope that through this recognition, we can invite even more guests to enjoy the Butterfly House and learn about the vital role pollinators play in our world.”
The Butterfly House is currently open Tuesday–Sunday, 9 a.m.–4 p.m. and will be open for Memorial Day on Monday, May 26.
