Advance vehicle registration is recommended to guarantee parking; a limited number of additional parking spaces will be available day of on a first-come-first-served basis. Carpooling and rideshare are encouraged.

Parking will be open at 5 p.m., music from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Shaw Nature Reserve presents the Wildflower Concert Series.

Local bands will perform at the Glassberg Pavilions from 6–7:30 p.m., surrounded by the beauty of the prairie and the region’s largest and most diverse native plant garden. Visitors are invited to bring their chairs and picnic blankets and can purchase food and drink from local vendors.

Concert admission is free thanks to our centennial sponsors; L.B. and Bonnie Eckelkamp, International Paper, Kling Family Foundation, and Nature Partners Foundation, with Magnificent Missouri. 

No outside alcohol is permitted.

Shaw Nature Reserve hosts a variety of events throughout the year such as the Spring Into Nature 5k Trail Run, the Annual Art Show, and the Spring and Fall Wildflower Markets

The Glassberg Family Pavilions were installed in early 2011. Sunny’s Pavilion and Myron’s Pavilion are a shelter and staging area for educational programs and events. Located near the Bascom House and the Whitmire Wildflower Garden, these pavilions offer breathtaking views of the Shaw Nature Reserve landscape.
