St. Louis hosts a great number of hotels conveniently located within a 20 minute-drive from the Missouri Botanical Garden. Attendees are required to make a hotel reservation on their own, conference organizers are not responsible for booking rooms for attendees, but might help in case of questions and inquires.
Conference organizers have negotiated discounted rates with the closest hotels and apartments for conference attendees. In most cases, discounted rates apply only to the days of the conference, longer stays are possible, but room rates might vary from those negotiated. Accommodations are reserved on a first-come basis and will sell-out fast. We recommend inquiring about reservations as far in advance as possibly.
Please note the reservation deadline (July 21, 2023) for all accommodations. Reservations made after this date will be subject to prevailing rate and availability.
Trelease House: The Garden is offering discounted guest housing in shared apartments within walking distance to the event. Up to 20 beds are available in fully furnished apartments that include use of a shared kitchen and living spaces. For undergraduate, Master and PhD students attending the conference, the nightly rate per person is US$15 (shared room) or US$30 (private room). For other attendees (i.e. not students), the nightly rate per person is US$30 (shared room) or US$45 (private room). Red Roof Plus+ St. Louis - Forest Park / Hampton Ave.: Rooms available include Standard 2 full beds (US$84-143 per night) and Superior 1 King bed (US$92-152 per night). Airbnb: There are ca. 20 airbnb hosts within walking distance of the Garden, offering a range of accommodations and prices. The conference organizing committee have not negotiated with, contacted or vetted these hosts, but they could serve as a good alternative to standard hotel accommodations.
St. Louis Travelers: A non-for profit group of travelers and hosts in the St. Louis area will be offering accommodation, food and rides to/from the conference venue for FREE for a limited number of attendees with a demonstrated financial need who could not otherwise attend the conference.
