Glossary
The Green Event Planning Guide will help you set green goals specific to your event. Select your goals, identify subsequent action tasks, and determine which actionable steps are right for your event.
Remember, your goals should include:
Options that work for you and your community
Work with what’s available, affordable, and practical
Be measurable
Select “Submit” when you are finished to receive an e-mail with your customized event green goals and action tasks. Use these goals to establish timelines, assign responsibility, and organize your green event planning committee.
Select “Save for Later” to receive an e-mail with a link that allows you to come back to finish setting goals and defining action tasks at a later point in time.
This project was developed by the Missouri Botanical Garden in partnership with the U.S. EPA Region 7. Information submitted through the online Planning Tool may be used by the Missouri Botanical Garden and the U.S. EPA Region 7 to further evaluate the impact of the Planning Tool and the
Green, Greener Greenest
framework.
