"
The Week" is a group experience that sheds light on environmental breakdown and rapid climate effects through film. For three Thursday evenings in June (once per week for three weeks), viewers can watch a 1-hour documentary film episode followed by a guided group discussion for 30 minutes on the film’s meanings, themes, and takeaways to better connect with others in their city to discuss nuanced climate topics.
Prior to each showing and discussion session, local organizations will share their climate mission and showcase how St. Louisans can get involved in the local sustainability scene. View the following list for attending organizations:
Attendees will also have access to our Sassafras Restaurant (taking orders until 7:30 p.m.) and The Bellwether Café (open until 8 p.m.) throughout the evening for snacks and refreshments. The Garden Gate Shop is also open until 8 p.m. for visitors who wish to take home a new souvenir!
This film series and discussion is presented by the Garden’s sustainability division, EarthWays Center and will be led by local community leader,
