Run, walk, or dash by the daffodils at our eighth annual family 5K (3.1-miles) trail run at Shaw Nature Reserve! There are literally thousands of daffodils that have been blooming around certain areas of Shaw Nature Reserve for over 90 years. Pick your date and time to come and run this 5K route during the month of April. The route will meander through the areas our daffodils bloom. Come solo or with your friends and family of all ages! We ask that you keep your group size to 10 people or less.Participants will receive a t-shirt, a Missouri native species ready to plant at home, and a coupon code to select a date and time of your choosing to complete your run throughout the month of April. Coupon codes will be sent through email two weeks before April dates open and run packets may be picked up at the Visitor Center. Track your time using your favorite race app and share your photos on social media using the hashtag #SNRDaffodilDash2021Friends and family not participating in the run and visiting on the same day will need to register for an admission ticket at shawnature.org/visitYour participation helps support Shaw Nature Reserve's mission to inspire responsible stewardship of our environment through education, restoration, and protection of natural habitats and public enjoyment of the natural world.
