Shaw Nature Reserve is launching an effort to inspire hikers to learn more about the wonders of our natural environment in our home state. Join us for a hiking blitz where we'll explore more of MO (Missouri) at Shaw Nature Reserve, one of few locations in the St. Louis area to be home to such a wide variety of native habitats. Join guided hikes to learn about Missouri’s native habitats and meet local wildlife, gardening, and conservation experts.
Participate in outdoor activities such as orienteering, fire starting, atlatls, casting a fishing line, and more. Guided hikes will leave every 30-minutes.
Environmental education at Shaw Nature Reserve and Explore MOre are supported by the Missouri Department of Conservation.
Your participation helps support Shaw Nature Reserve's mission to inspire responsible stewardship of our environment through education, restoration, and protection of natural habitats and public enjoyment of the natural world.
Explore MOre is a drop-in event - advanced registration is not required. The event is FREE for MBG members and children under 12 years old and $5 for non-members.
