Over 200 years ago, Baron Alexander von Humboldt ascended the 20,000-foot volcano, Chimborazo, and was inspired to write his famous essay on plant geography. Celebrate Humboldt's 250th birthday by following Garden scientist Dr. Carmen Ulloa, Curator, Science and Conservation, as she takes you on a botanical journey to Ecuador in the footsteps of "the greatest scientific traveler who ever lived."
