Travel to wine-producing regions around the world through a five course dinner hosted by a visiting wine expert. Chefs from Catering St. Louis will create the regional menu, pairing each course with a different wine from the same region.

Buonasera! Our featured speaker at this month's Around the World Wine Dinner is Meredith Sutch from Tavolo Vigneto, LLC. Translated from Italian as “The Vineyard Table’, Tavolo Vigneto was founded in 2013 by a group of experienced wine industry veterans. With the goal of importing and marketing the finest wines and related beverage products available from Italy, the company seeks to employ the concepts of “Farm to Table” in its strict selection process. Tavolo Vigneto partners with family owned, artisanal growers who have a strong reputation for quality and a dedication to producing wines that express harmony in their specific vineyards and growing regions.

Meredith is a Certified Sommelier (2012) and a Certified Specialist in Wines (2013). After working in one of St. Louis’ premier Italian restaurants for eleven years, she switched her focus to sales and distribution, joining Tavolo Vigneto in 2014. She now focuses her studies in Italian wines and looks forward to guiding you through an enjoyable evening “Under the Tuscan Sun” at the Missouri Botanical Garden. Cheers!
