Travel to wine-producing regions around the world through a five course dinner hosted by a visiting wine expert. Chefs from Catering St. Louis will create the regional menu, pairing each course with a different wine from the same region.

Speaker Bio
Janine Poleman is Central Sales Director for Elixir Wine Group, an import company specializing in artisan, family-owned estates across Europe and South America. Her passion for handmade wines with a strong sense of place has lead to extensive travel in order to work directly with the producers she represents. The wine industry has been her professional home for close to 20 years, with stints across all channels: restaurant sommelier, director of on-premise sales for a multi-state distributor, Bordeaux import portfolio director, charity wine auctioneer, wine educator and occasional Champagne-saber-wielding maniac!
