Chinese Culture Days
(April)

Chinese Dragon Parade A 70-foot dragon and lion dancers open this springtime celebration that includes a Grand Parade and acrobatics, theater, martial arts, Chinese calligraphy, painting, authentic regional cuisine, t'ai chi and tea tastings. Special tours focus on the symbolism of many plant species and architectural details. No trams. — Learn more.


Whitaker Music Festival
(June – August)
Free admission after 5 p.m.
Whitaker Music FestivalA ten-week Wednesday evening outdoor concert series held each summer. The concert series features artists performing blues, jazz, rock, band and more. Pack a picnic or purchase sandwiches and beverages on site. Lawn seating at the Cohen Amphitheater; bring chairs or a blanket. Music begins at 7:30 p.m.; last entry at 9 p.m. A limited number of wheelchairs are available for use on a first-come, first-served basis.
