2021 Spring/Summer Class Catalog will be mailed late February and a downloadable catalog will be posted in our Quick Links on our Classes webpage.
Registration opens March 1 at 9 a.m.; online link will appear at that time in the Quick Links on the Classes Page.

The Missouri Botanical Garden continues to be dedicated to keeping all staff and participants safe and appreciate your patience and understanding. Beginning in March,

  • All classes will be held in-person outdoors or virtually. Outdoor classes will be held under covered spaces if needed and limited to 10 participants per class for proper social distancing.
  • Online registration includes agreement to our Covid-19 Waiver with a hyperlink to view the document. Checking the box confirms your agreement to the Covid-19 Waiver and Class Policies.
  • At class check-in, an Education staff member will confirm you reviewed the Heath Questions, listed in the Education Participant Safety Protocol, and taken your temperature just prior to coming to class.
  • If you have a fever of 100.4° + or answer “yes” to any of the health questions, please call (314) 577-9506 to cancel and receive a full refund.

Mother and daughter potting a plant Offered for a diversity of learners, from young explorers to budding enthusiasts, our programs have been expertly designed to educate, inspire and enrich. Most importantly, they are intended to strengthen the connections each of us has with the natural world.

Our classes for kids and families have been designed for children and adults to experience together. Instructors strive to engage children in age-appropriate activities, while providing adults examples of ways to learn about the natural world at home.
